The Gen2.1 kit splits the fuel supply into two lines 25 inches from the CP4 pump (versus the original kit's split within an inch of the pump), greatly reducing the chance of contaminated fuel back-feeding into the clean supply line. A billet return filter head accepts a standard Donaldson P550943 spin-on filter (9-micron, 99% efficient) to trap debris before it reaches the tank or fuel lines.
